"I tried to change the bulb in my 2016 Ford Fusion Headlight and found it had been over engineered, so that I have to take the front bumper off to get to the lights...."

It is my considered opinion that the team who engineered a car (or anything else) should get the first dozen that roll off the assembly line, and have to do a randomly selected failure repair on them.

Vendome, Ford merely applied forward their ingenuous Dealer-Requirement for headlight repair from 2000s F150s. Twenty-Five bucks will get you a new headlight, plus 2 hours service time.

WW: how many products do we use daily, especially computer hardware and software, where it is BEYOND CLEAR that the geniuses who created them never a day or a minute used them?

I run an academic support service that helps kids figure out what's going on at school. If their teachers would for a second consider the perspective of their students and parents, they would NEVER do the things they do. Instead they just pump out ridiculous lessons, grades, and assignments that make no sense to anyone but themselves.
