I know that everyone on FR has a favorite newspaper to hate on - but more than any, I’d love to see the Minneapolis StarTribune (aka The Red Star) go into Chapter 11 and shut down completely.

Their local news is respectable at best - but their fawning over people like Amy Klobuchar, groups like the Somalis and their extremely biased editorial page make me unhappy.

The thought of their editorial staff having to go out somewhere and get real jobs is something I’d love to see.

That’s happening here at Tucson’s “Red Star.” Not much personnel left.

You mean "Chapter 7".

That's the kaput filing.

A Chapter 11 filing for Bankruptcy allows the entity to hold creditors at bay in an attempt to salvage a possible reorganized and viable business.

Minnesota will never become great again until the Red Star is dead an buried.
The guys who rammed thru the first stadium and then sold their land to the developer.

#4 the paper was bought by a local billionaire. He said he was not going to interfere with the running of the newspaper (except they would not report on me).
