The state will continue to encumber honest practitioners (not like this loser) with so many regulations to “stop the epidemic” that legitimate patients won’t be able to get effective pain meds when they really need it. It’s already happening.
Meanwhile... the border remains wide open so criminals can bring in as much as they want for the black market.
My wife’s a nurse. She can spot a druggy shopping for a doctor to fill prescriptions a mile away. They get some every day, I have a feeling the Dr was filling lots of them, which makes him like any other drug dealer.
