Whether chronic pain sufferers lives are made better or pot lovers get to stay high whenever they wish, who gets to choose, pro-legalized pot champs, of course!
Understand that completely; passed my first stone last year.
I have a very high tolerance to pain, but that sucker actually took me to my knees.
The state will continue to encumber honest practitioners (not like this loser) with so many regulations to stop the epidemic that legitimate patients wont be able to get effective pain meds when they really need it. Its already happening.
Meanwhile... the border remains wide open so criminals can bring in as much as they want for the black market.
Doctors should just stop prescribing opiates, and most primary care physicians are doing just that. The DEA and federal attorneys should do it instead. After all, they are the law which makes them experts at anything they want.
I really hope that one of these federal attorneys or federal law enforcement agents have to face intractable pain themselves. These people should never receive opiates for anything.
i went in for to have it blasted with sound yesterday- they couldn’t do it because the type stone it was wasn’t visible on xray- so we’re ‘tryign sodium bicarbonate’ which apparently takes months to work- Yay- another few months of fevers, chills, off and on again pain, sleepless nights- can’t wait
And abortion is still the leading cause of death in the US. I wonder if the government is worried about that? (dripping sarcasm)
[[I have a very high tolerance to pain, but that sucker actually took me to my knees.]]
I thought i did too- amazing how a tiny little stone. around 4 mm or so, can bring a grown man to his knees begging for mercy, throwing up- nearly passing out- The first one i passed I saw it and said “You gotta be kidding me- that tiny little thing felt like passing a 4 foot razor blade with rusty screws drilled through it”- I’ve passed dozens- most go through with minimal pain- a few take days and hurt to beat the band
“..two deadly and highly addictive prescription drugs...”
Bull shit. Xanax is a wonderful drug and methadone is used to treat addicts. Too much aspirin will kill you. They already have sudafed semi-controlled and next will be tylenol, advil etc. Who are these ghouls?
At least one billion have died if you add up all abortion deaths in every country since it has been legalized around the world.
Then, you can possibly double that number if you include the babies who died after conception because of birth control pills.
If you think of the deepstaters who worked to rid the Earth of enough people so that they only have 1/2 a billion people to deal with, well they pretty much got a head start because of abortion.
Wow, just wow!
I have some old, expired Percocet and some oxycodone. I just can’t imagine tossing them. There’s not a doubt in my mind that should the time come that I need those drugs, they will not be prescribed for me.
Recently, I had a tooth extracted, and I incurred a bone fracture during the extraction. I was advised to take some Tylenol. I got home and took one of those Percocets. I love it. I struggle with sleep difficulties, but Percocet puts me right to sleep. I’m fully aware that I could easily become addicted to them for that sweet sleep inducing capacity. That’s why I limit myself to 1.
But it’s heart-rending to consider that people in immense pain might be denied relief.
A kidney stone will put anyone down.
I’ve had a few. None in the past two or three though.
A friend of my dad’s used to get a stone attack around his birthday for a few years.
One home remedy I learned about and in my case worked was to drink Tang when I started to feel pain.
I practically inhaled the stuff. Once or twice I was able to stop the attack before needing medical help.
My wife’s a nurse. She can spot a druggy shopping for a doctor to fill prescriptions a mile away. They get some every day, I have a feeling the Dr was filling lots of them, which makes him like any other drug dealer.
I’d like to find something for my constant headaches.
They range from minor dull to incapacitating migraines. The various quacks and advanced quacks haven’t had much to say.
The chiropractic adjustment helps some.
Which French medical system? In countries like France and Italy, there are the systems for the Hoi Polloi and the systems for those who have access to cash for payment - my daughter was born in a hospital in Brindisi, Italy....it was not for the general population..
But you can’t say the punishment fits the crime. Loss of licensure and fines, of course. But life in prison? That’s insane. He can’t harm the public w/o a medical license.
Before long, we’ll have life sentences for all malpractice. Bad surgeons, wrong diagnoses, other drug interactions. Of course these people should be punished, but should we give them a life sentence for poor practice? Doctors are going to be afraid to do anything associated with the least bit of risk when treating patients. That is the message this judge sent whether she knows it or not.
Why not instead give corrupt police, judges and investigations life sentences too when they frame innocent people and destroy their lives as we see today with Mueller.
The government class is largely above the law. This only increases distrust of government institutions. Although the public is polarized on many issues, they broadly agree on their contempt for government. This judge is only making things worse as she will harvest the sorrow as the nation continues to come apart.
