we were doing that, but it takes time. In the meanwhile, the ACLU whined about privacy concerns and, even though the DNA testing was specifically for determining if the adult was a parent to be reunited, Judge Sabraw last year:
” told officials that they were still expected to abide by the previous ruling and that roadblocks along the way were not sufficient cause to delay family reunification.”

DNA tests should now be required of every person here illegally (or even every immigrant). There’s a lot of choices and a one-time cost of 50 to 100 bucks would be well worth it - particularly when it proves an adult has no relationship with the child claimed as a family member.
Added benefit is establishing DNA identities could prove very interesting for future crimes.
