The A-10 pilots I’ve met thought badly of her. So did I since I spent a ton of time in Saudi but, unlike McSally -”the first female fighter pilot” - I never got off of PSAB since no congress critters or higher ups invited people like me to Riyadh for Embassy parties.
OTOH, her marriage of a couple of years was annulled, and in Arizona, about the only reason for them to get an annulment would be no sex during their marriage - which might support the idea she had been traumatized. But if she HAD been attacked, the congresswomen of the time would have seen to it their pet fighter pilot was taken care off by the military justice system.
She wasn’t some obscure officer. She was the military’s darling. Unless the rape took place prior to her flight career, the idea that she could not have reported it for fear of consequences is stupid. Hell, she sued the Secretary of Defense - and was applauded for it! She was pampered her entire career. Her career included time as a “military advisor” to Sen Jon Kyle. She was very hi-viz her entire career.
Prince Sultan Air Base... I know ti well.
