I saw some of this. I will not vote for any f these things.
Just last night I saw that a Bill has been proposed to change the terms of the Gambling Amendment that passed. They want to change the rules and require a local vote to have casino’s in Pope and Jefferson counties, yet they are exempting Garland and Crittenden counties from this.
Also on the matter of sports book betting, they don’t to allow betting on state college games unless they are playing out of state. What is that all about?
I don’t know about the college gambling issue. I know that folks in Pope County don’t want a Casino in their area. The crime and corruption from the casino isn’t worth the supposed money for education etc in any area.
