Winer - the playmaker for Kerry on much of foreign policy. Congress (Republicans) should do a full field investigation of his activities on the Far Left. They might find a thing or two that would raise eyebrows of normal people.
So far only one published item on him at www.keywiki.org, search under Jonathan Winer or “New York Marxist School”.
I suspect he was a key Kerry hitman during the so-called “Contra Investigations” esp. relating to admitted saboteur Tony Avirgan and the Sandinista attempted assassination of former Sandinista leader Eden Pastora.
It would be interesting to find out if Winer had any official or unofficial connection to Hanoi propagandist/communist atrocities denier Gary Porter who was hired by Kerry to work on foreign affairs, reportedly including supporting the Sandinista Marxists in the late 80’s.
