You were so very, very sure that the officers were going to be criminally charged in this. You said it was open and shut. You even said that you were going to bookmark this after I told you that your understanding of the law here was wrong.

You really should quit playing lawyer on the internet.
The standard is reasonableness, not certainty. No one, NO ONE, CCW holder or otherwise, needs to wait to be staring down the barrel of a gun before they are justified in shooting.
If your internet lawyers told you otherwise, you need to stop carrying, because waiting that long will likely get you dead.
I think you have the wrong case. Shoot someone who is unarmed and has not attacked you or was attempting to aasault you in any way then go to court and say “it was dark” “ there was a flash of light from his hands” and see what happens. If you are a lawyer you are dangerously incompetent. I need to look at my posts on this case but even if I predicted they would be charged this would literally be the first time I have been wrong on one of these cases and I have weighed in on dozens of them.
While you are at it please quote the thread where i said they would be charged.
