President Trump on Sunday suggested that it was Congressional Democrats and their questioning of Michael Cohen that may have led to the outcome of last week’s summit meeting with North Korea.
In a tweet Trump said: “For the Democrats to interview in open hearings a convicted liar & fraudster, at the same time as the very important Nuclear Summit with North Korea, is perhaps a new low in American politics and may have contributed to the “walk.” Never done when a president is overseas. Shame!”
The summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was abruptly cut short Thursday after the leaders failed to reach an accord on denuclearization.
Afterward, Trump said “Sometimes, you have to walk” away from negotiations when they aren’t going well.
The Democratic-controlled House Oversight Committee grilled Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, for hours Wednesday — the first day of the summit — about his time working for the president’s company. Cohen made claims, such as Trump approved hush money payouts.
Trump has called Cohen a liar....

Trump is right. That was the whole purpose of the Cohen hearing, but Cohen made fools of them by saying there was no collusion and then saying nothing else that was credible.
They’d would have sabotaged it directly if they could.

The sewer filth that IS the demon rat party planned to sabotage the summit. All they can do to undermine this President is more important to that filth than the safety of America and Americans. When the cold civil war grows hot, I know my targets.
I don’t think it did. Kim is just doing what he and those before him have always done. Want the money and sanctions lifted now in a promise they will do it later. Trump not letting them play that game again.

I read that Nancy Pelosi had a hand in the unfortunate and deliberate timing of the useless hearings. Were the hearings planned to undermine the nuclear summit? There appeared to be a coordinated attack on the hearings by the MSM, predicting total failure and belittling the Trump Administration, without acknowledging the unprecedented success with North Korea. All other presidents gave them stuff and got nothing.
Such action is more evidence that the Democrats are unAmerican. What country are they representing?

Exactly. Kim perceived that Trump “needed” a treaty because he thought him to be politically vulnerable. Trump walked and said see you in 2020 rocket man. Trump correctly understood why Kim was hard balling him and wouldn’t play that game. Kim better think about this one. Trump is leveraging a deal now vs. the fear of a deal after he is reelected. If reelected Trump would need nothing from Kim.

Is it possible that Cohen is playing “rope a dope” with the dems? I haven’t followed it that closely, but it appears to me that Cohen is guilty of felonies that are easily provable and would get him much more jail time than he got. Simultaneously, Cohen has character assassinated Trump, a guy who the media has character assassinated for three years with no effect. Cohen gives them more name calling but on the substance of impeachable offenses he gives them nothing. Interesting. A New York “fixer” and felonious businessman is very capable of suckering a bunch of democrat and media fools. His family and freedom depend on it.
Few are able to recognize reality because they have been and continue to be brainwashed by CNN and the rest of the MSM ilk.
