Bingo!! You’ve got it! We are far more at risk of Type II diabetes from all the high fructose corn syrup produced and high actual cane sugar produced and in processed foods and big gulp sodas (producing obese teenage Type II diabetics, who should have aged to at least 50 plus years before exhibiting any diabetes).

But even that is considered buttinski big gov— and maybe they are correct. Would avoid sugars like those, like the plague. The same sugars produced by our high productivity farms-— as you say. The land of plenty produced by geniuses to feed the turd world— so they can “demand entry” here. Nope— sorry not going there.

fish? So that explains that smell from the corn field. :)

I have no idea where my crops go when they leave home, but according to the fellows at the grain elevator, all of the corn goes into alcohol, either ethanol or the drinking type, mostly vodka and boutique bourbon whiskeys and the soybeans go into food products. My neighbors cattle get sold to local butchers and when my freezer gets empty, I buy one of the halves.

Lot of ASSumption in your statement. Mine is NOT a small perspective, and..if you can read for comprehension (and this IS an element of a career professional’s knowledge, FRiend)- you will note the very specifics of the bogus parts per billion argument from people and orgs who truly haven’t a clue.

But thanks for defending your rice bowl. Fortunately in our family we don’t talk with our mouths full, and they are majorly not full of high fructose corn syrup, as we have the intelligence and finances to choose differently. Nor are we supportive of RINO/DINO K Street lobbyist jackasses who are destroying our Republic. We don’t give a damn about globalist UN goals to feed the world with US globalist products. We are into independence— from the GOPe and the NWO in particular. Ultra conservatives, and independent as the Founders intended. Deo Vindice.

People tend to not truly grasp units that are in the extreme. They just see 60 and it seems like a fairly significant amount. The fact that the unit,PPB, is miniscule doesn’t always register.

And when did we start measuring things in parts per billion? IIRC, PPM was more common. I would imagine in any article trying to scare people into changing behavior that PPM just wouldn’t be the same as 1 PPM = 1000PPB.

Read my original commentary post on the ppb issue. The “small perspective” is precisely the basis of the argument against these anti-glyophosphate hucksters. Misuse of science— the central issue. Wider perspective is the original misuse on a larger scale of the entire “ethanol” industry foisted on the US by Bob Dole GOPe and the Demonrats. That Thom Tillis part of the useless twits who call themselves... “conservatives”. With generations of family inside knowledge, politically of how we got here. Soy protein and sweet potato hormones for man tits- something professionally have to deal with daily.

We started measuring PPB when Mass Spectrometry came into common use and we could detect PPB.

Yeah— understand! We hold back one from the slaughterhouse, cut, processed and packaged for the freezer. What a blessing to be able to do this— and it took half a life to get here. Thanks, FRiend for the dialogue. Winter coming to visit-got to get to the barn check on things.

PIRG was created by Ralph Nader. I would take anything they say with a grain of glysophate.

The truth is: Science is always evolving. It’s not always “settled” and it is riddled with industry corruption.
Worse yet, government corruption.

Can someone find their report/study on the science of "climate change"?

""We all know that alcoholic drinks are not a health food – and alcohol itself is linked to cancer""

Um.. No, we don't "all know that"

===============================================

While there are of course many factors involved in ones health (stress levels, overall diet, levels of activity, etc, etc) some alcoholic drinks (in moderation), wine in particular, do in fact have health benefits.

The French paradox: lessons for other countries
Red Wine and the Mediterranean diet
Drink up, it's good for you! A red wine detox holiday in France

The issue is overall lifestyle and drinking wine (red in particular) in moderation.

Generally, your doctor isn't going to give you a recommendation to drink red wine because some people will assume that if my doc says it's healthy to drink wine (in moderation), drinking more must be even better.
