How are socialism and fascism mutually exclusive? Socialists only explain socialism by pointing out its flaws. But how does socialism correct them? By putting a small group of “intellectuals” in charge of all the resources, effectively creating fascism.

Socialism and fascism are the same thing.
What does “social justice” mean? It means work guaranteed, fair wages, decent homes; it means the possibility of continuous evolution and improvement. […] As the past (19th) century was the century of capitalist power, the 20th century is the century of the power and glory of labor.
That is a quote from Mussolini, from 1935; he was already several years into his reign as a fascist. That kind of rhetoric is indistinguishable from socialist rhetoric.
