To House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, it’s time for fellow California colleague Adam Schiff, now head of the House Intelligence Committee, to practice what he once preached.
During his weekly press conference Thursday, McCarthy said it appears obvious that Schiff has met his own standard to recuse himself from the Democrats’ expanding investigation into POTUS Donald Trump’s finances, now that it appears special counsel Robert Mueller isn’t going to find the ‘goods’ on the president.
McCarthy’s comments come after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s marathon testimony before the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday, where the disbarred and convicted lawyer said he met with Schiff to discuss a number of “topics” prior to his testimony.

Only Republicans are naive enough to actually present themselves as honorable.
That suggestion makes shifty Schiff snicker.
They only cite Conservative's standards to be used against Conservatives.

So why doesn’t McCarthy refer Sch#t to the ethics committee?
Of course, the ethics committee won’t do anything,
but at least the very weak McCarthy would show he did something
beside run his weak mouth.
