This will be a weekly post.
Count is now 86 judges confirmed.
53 District Court judges
31 Circuit Court judges
2 Supreme Court justices
Mitch McConnell got the judicial train moving again this week. And the first nominee of the new Flake-less Congress was to the 9th Circuit, OVER the objections of the two leftist home-state senators.
Democrat blue slip obstruction is over.
There are several Circuit Court judges due to be confirmed next week.
Also this week, Neomi Rao was voted out of committee. If confirmed, she will fill Brett Kavanaugh's seat on the DC Circuit.
We're off and running. Finally!
The President was working hard, as usual. What were the lazy senators doing?
I guess I should say, "Thank you" to McTurtle for doing the job he was elected to and is being paid for.
Two or three are up next week. After that, Granite has suggested he’ll change the debate rule that will slash the amount of time it takes to move them along even faster.
And yet, with all that, THIS IS A RECORD for this point in a president’s tenure-—and all this with a one-month government shutdown!
