The Senate Republicans are truly a pathetically stupid collection of
lightweight politicians. The absolute worst group of fools and frauds youll
find anywhere. Look as they undermine the president & the people with their
pathetic arguments as if they give a damn about the Constitution.
Certainly talking about NC’s Senators, for sure Tom “the turd’ Tillis - the one termer for sure!
Oh really? Like someone else said, where the hell have you been these last two years. Mitch's Senate does as close to nothing as they can get away with. Almost nothing. Yeah, every few weeks they vote a couple of confirmations of various things. But that's about it. And I suspect that is about the minimum Mitch can do and keep his wife from being fired. After all, a deal's a deal.
The GOP is worthless, except that the democrats are even worse - hard to imaging and it's about as close to a draw as one can make it.
If you can drive a semi you can do something and therefore there is no place in DC for you. The folks who live here are totally incompetent at anything and everything.
“the rest worry more about popularity”
Popularity with donors and the ruling global cabal. The wall has popular support.
“every few weeks they vote a couple of confirmations of various things. But that’s about it. “
thanks man
“Certainly talking about NCs Senators, for sure Tom the turd Tillis - the one termer for sure!”
Yes! Finally people in NC are starting to take notice that Tillis is not doing what they elected him to do and are mad!
...and to think he was once anti-Trump. Ha!
Republicans.. doing in 2 years what Democrats can do in 2 days.
I don’t give Democrats credit for much of anything. But they do know how to get what they want and fast.
We need a Trump Party.
Lamar Alexander! Today’s unprincipled, feckless turd that rose from the depths of that Political Sewage Treatment Plant known as the US Senate to “speak”! He’s the Mr. Hanky (The Christmas Poo) of the Senate, and it isn’t even close to Christmas!
” Tom ‘the turd Tillis “
Please! It’s not TOM, it’s THOM! Have some respect for the Tom’s of the country.
“And why are we supposed to listen to the biggest a-hole shill NEVER TRUMPER in Levin?”
That is, as of today, an incorrect statement! Mark has been “converted by seeing the truth” into being a Trumper. I guess you don’t watch his show!
Reading all these replies, to be honest, is a little discouraging. Term Limits would solve most of these problems. Politicians get too comfortable in their cushy, overpaid, IMO, jobs.
I think the trick is to make the term limit short enough that they don’t have time to get too comfortable.
12 years total should be enough, split between the House and the Senate any way the politician wants. Assuming, of course, they can get elected in the first place.
Since existing politicos would have to be grandfathered, it would be at least several years before term limits would start generating benefits. The sooner we get started the better.
Can someone talk Palin into challenging Murkowski.
I would argue that about half of the GOP ‘pretenders’ are just Democrats who realize that you can’t run in a race within a state or district as a Democrat, because the votes just aren’t there. So you go and make yourself into a pretender.
I think John McCain was a good example of a pretender...same for Sessions when he served as a Senator for Alabama. Corker was a guy who realized he couldn’t run and win in Tenn, unless he pretended to be a Republican.
The backstabbing scumbags should fear returning home.
AndyJackson is hot on the trail. It is not term limits, it is just that the electee's have mo skills at doing anything to make a living. Contrast any member of Congress to President Trump - He did something, and can afford to make the tough decisions. Congressmen cannot.
Now at the start of our Republic, Congressmen were not paid. Only men of wealth could afford to go to Congress, and they had to be implored by their community to serve. After their term they would resume life in their community.
The meme of paying a lot to get good people is not working out, it attracts the wrong crowd and should be changed. Then Congressmen would be respected and they wouldn't have to tell their mother that their job was playing piano in a house of ill repute.
Virginia’s John Warner was the perfect example of what Levin is talking about. Unfortunately, he has been replaces by far worse leftists.
