TESTIMONY OF MICHAEL D. COHEN COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT AND REFORM U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
New York Time ^ | Feb 26 2017 | Michael Cohen

Posted on 02/26/2019 11:12:19 PM PST by saywhatagain

Never in a million years did I imagine, when I accepted a job in 2007 to work for Donald Trump, that he would one day run for President, launch a campaign on a platform of hate and intolerance, and actually win. I regret the day I said “yes” to Mr. Trump. I regret all the help and support I gave him along the way.

First provable lie Cohen makes . . .

In July 2016, days before the Democratic convention, I was in Mr. Trump’s office when his secretary announced that Roger Stone was on the phone. Mr. Trump put Mr. Stone on the speakerphone. Mr. Stone told Mr. Trump that he had just gotten off the phone with Julian Assange and that Mr. Assange told Mr. Stone that, within a couple of days, there would be a massive dump of emails that would damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

On June 12, 2016

In an interview with ITV Network’s Robert Peston, Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, states that his organization received emails related to Hillary Clinton, which await publication. Speaking to Peston on Sunday, Mr Assange said Wikileads has further information relating to claims circulating since 2015 that Clinton had in the past used her family's private email server for official communications.

Assange on Peston on Sunday: 'More Clinton leaks to come"

In my timeline, everytime the campaign is accused of something, all anyone has to do is look and see that the matter has been discussed in the media.

Cohen continues with the following remarks regarding Stormy Daniels

I am giving the Committee today a copy of the $130,000 wire transfer from me to Ms. Clifford’s attorney during the closing days of the presidential campaign that was demanded by Ms. Clifford to maintain her silence about her affair with Mr. Trump. This is Exhibit 4 to my testimony.

Sounds more like Blackmail than hush money.

Restoring American greatness is “hate and intolerance”?

That’s some classic barking moon-bat stuff right there.

Well thanks for nothing.

“Questions have been raised about whether I know of direct evidence that Mr. Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia. I do not. I want to be clear. But, I have my suspicions.”

Yep. Batshit.

How does this support the conman claim?

This is barking mad.

High schools are not allowed to release our records without our permission.

Colleges are not allowed to release our records without our permission.

College Boards are not allowed to release our records without our permission.

A lawyer writing a letter stating that they will take legal action against these bodies if they do so seems completely normal.

This man is supposed to be a lawyer and considers this relevant of something ?!?

This claim is incredibly, laughably lame !

———-

“When I say conman, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges, and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores.

As I mentioned, I’m giving the Committee today copies of a letter I sent at Mr. Trump’s direction threatening these schools with civil and criminal actions if Mr. Trump’s grades or SAT scores were ever disclosed without his permission. These are Exhibit 6.”

Good golly, the witnesses opening statement discredits himself.

“I recognize that some of you may doubt and attack me on my credibility. It is for this reason that I have incorporated into this opening statement documents that are irrefutable, and demonstrate that the information you will hear is accurate and truthful.”

Tax payers support Congress’ hush fund. Trump paid out of his own pocket. And many politicians pay hush money whether allegation is true or not.

How can a lawyer breach attorney client priviledge and still be a good guy like he is claiming?

So the claims are:

“I am ashamed because I know what Mr. Trump is. He is a racist.
He is a conman.
He is a cheat.”

And the support is what?

A conman because he did not want his school records released without permission?

LOL, I’m reading this laughing my butt off. It’s another Jussie Smollett hoax. It’s so over the top and orchestrated it reminds me of a Vietnam POW being forced to denounce the US which ironically enough is pretty much what they are doing here.

Read my post #12, when I read that I laughed out loud. It is soooo obvious they had him write that, it’s just such a huge red flag that they are controlling him like a puppet. Racist is their favorite word. That whole statement by Cohen just utterly reeks of the lefts usual adolescent BS “Trump is a stinky poo poo face”. Republicans can bite me for letting this ridiculous BS go on for so long

This guy is a liar. The whole world has known that Donald Trump has always flirted with the U S Presidency. Every time he went on a talk show he was asked about it.

He’s a liar right out of the gate. He loved Trump, loved the money and fame and now “Trump ran on hate and intolerance”.

That’s NOT what Cohen thought it’s Democrat propaganda and it’s an insult to all Trump supporters.
