No one gets to level of cardinal without knowing about, likely being involved in homosexuality and predatory behavior. He was convicted, that is a good start. He should be executed. That’d be even better. As a Catholic I want to see strong decisive action against homosexual and predatory priests in the clergy.
So basically, all cardinals are guilty by definition and should be executed. Is that what you're saying? How is that different from what the communists do?
He was, indeed, convicted but with no evidence. Why does that make you so happy?
The accuser said they guzzled red wine, the Cathedral only used white wine at that time. The choir master scheduled a special rehearsal immediately after Mass since it was close to Christmas, he said the boys were there as did the other choir members. In a cathedral full of people no one saw the Cardinal leave the recessional before it got out the door?? Why? Because this does not happen. If it did, his secretary or the MC would go after him to make sure he was OK. A prelate's secretary is always nearby in case he needs something.
Consider how many people go into a sacristy directly after Mass - the crucifer, the other priests would be hanging up their vestments, the guys clearing the altar would bring back the cruets and the missal/missal stand. Anyone could walk in there at anytime, the door was open, in fact there were several points of access. The dead guy's mom asked him point blank if anything had ever happened to him, he said 'no'.
Injustice is ugly, it does not make normal people happy.
