The outcome here was never really in doubt.
But it shows the strength of the abortion lobby that nobody except 3 red state Dems, neither of whom are 2020 candidates, budged on a measure that probably 90% of the country would support.
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act failed 53 to 44. That's a bill that would compel doctors to treat babies born alive after a failed abortion.
On the Republican side Senator Murkowski was busy washing her hair. As were two others. Not that it would have made much of a difference.

The Rats who voted for it were given permission. If their votes were needed they would have sided with inanticide. Bank it.
For comparison, put a list of those killed from guns up against those that were murdered by abortion. I believe the numbers would support a higher number of aborted than from guns. That would go for any year for the last 30 years. And who supports infanticide? The dimocrats and their supporters.

Sens. Doug Jones of Alabama, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania were the only Democrats to vote for the bill. All other 44 Democratic senators voted against the bill.
Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Tim Scott of South Carolina, and Kevin Cramer of North Dakota were not present for the vote.
Rush said weather kept Cramer & Scott away but would vote in favor making 55.

Murkowski didn’t vote. At least the dims have the nerve to say it out loud. Murkowski voted for infanticide by not voting against it. She is a ghoul.
If I hear one more Democrat say anything about being concerned about children I’m going to puke. They’re in favor of murdering children in the womb, and now after birth. Can’t get any less concerning than that!
