I can’t think of one instance where a white, heterosexual male faked a hate crime. Maybe because we think claiming victim hood is a sign of weakness.
As a small boy, I was a victim of bullying by an older boy. Pushed me around. Extorted me. I whined to my dad and asked for advice. He said you will be bullied as long as you think you’re weak. Being physically inferior was a problem, but being sneaky and vindictive was not. So I hit my bully in the head with a baseball bat when he wasn’t looking. His bullying stopped.
I just met him again for the first time at our 50th high school reunion. He bought me a drink and said that it was great growing up together in the same neighborhood and that he cherished the memories.
That’s the way it is with tradition males. We forgive and forget.
