Former Vice President Al Gore appeared on The Circus Sunday night and reiterated his belief that climate change is responsible for the migrant caravans from Central America heading to the U.S. To prove his point Gore showed an area, spanning several countries, that is known as the Dry Corridor, part of which is so dry it’s gone an entire year without a harvest. This, according to Gore, is where the journey begins for many migrants.
“The drought becomes unbearable, so they pick up stakes and they say, ‘We can’t live here,’” Gore said. “First of all, they leave their farms and go to these cities, and they run into these criminal gangs, and they say, ‘We can’t handle this.’ And they head on north.”
If what Gore says is true, the caravans won’t be stopping anytime soon - not just from Central America to the U.S., but all over the world.
“The estimates are that in this century there could be as many as 1 billion climate refugees migrating across borders to other countries,” Gore said. “That’s a threat to political stability and peace.”
Donald Trumpp and many other Republicans, deny that climate change is real, or at the very least deny that humans are responsible for the speed at which it’s happening. But according to Gore, there are those who say one thing in public and something entirely different in private.

I, on the other hand, groan and sigh if I have to get up to find where I set the remote and then go back to sit down again. Actually I have been walking outside briskly for 30-60 minutes nearly every day until our below zero windchills here in MI.

Yeah algore. You know what accelerates climate change? Bring half the worlds third world population instantly to first world resource utilization.
Besides “global warming” primarily effects cold places in the arctic with very low humidity primarily in winter, primarily at night. So that where it would normally be -40 at night in the middle of winter, it is now the “hottest ever” -35. This is because water vapor (which the tropics and mid latitudes have tons of) has a much higher specific heat, so it takes orders of magnitude more energy to raise a cubic foot of moist air by one degree than it does to raise 1 cubic foot of dry air. So, the “effects” of “global hoaxing” are seen in the arctic but not in the very humid tropics. Furthermore, the convection in the tropics is huge, so the heat from the sun there begins to evaporate tons of water which releases an insane amount of energy which starts the water laden air to start a very powerful convection loop sending immeasurable amounts of heat laden water vapor thousands of feet into the stratosphere where once again it changes state and condenses where that latent heat can now reach outer space relatively unobstructed, and the water falls back to earth. In the mean time the clouds block some of the sunlight, and the removal of massive heat from the ground begins to shut down the convective loops, and by now it is late afternoon and the sun is no longer at an optimal angle to start it up again. This is why you will see little or no difference in the tropics
