When a president conducts proceedings to interview candidates to fill a position such as a new FBI director, there is an argument that the same provision of law which makes it a crime to lie to an FBI agent conducting an investigation also makes it a crime to lie to the president when he is investigating and interviewing such candidates during such a proceeding.

If Mueller and Rosenstein were dishonest and misleading to the president as to the reason Mueller was put forward and interviewed by President Trump, then they may have committed a crime, the same type of crime General Flynn was prosecuted for.

We need an investigation into all of the communications of Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein and the others involved to ascertain whether and what crimes were committed in obtaining the Special Counsel on specious grounds, as well of course into all the dirty machinations involved in the phony dossier and the investigation by the Obama administration into the Trump campaign.

By waiting so long, many records such as telcom records may not now be available.

But as we know we have a double standard, in which our rulers in the intel and fed LE departments are free from investigation for their potential crimes, because there is no one to hold accountable abusers of power.
