“You are giving credit to the wrong person. She was a bartender. She didn’t figure it out. She’s being used.”
Kind of. I agree with you more, but she is a trustafarian. She had a free place to live and an inheritance.
She bar tendered and was able to be a political activist who travelled around a lot.
But yes, she is not the brains behind the operation.
The brains is a Nazi admirer who is her chief of staff.
However the youth today are so brainwashed and easily led they will march to her drumbeat because they have no clue what she represents outside of ‘free stuff’. That's about as far reach as she has but it's palatable to the youth and socialist leaning people.
“You forgot the life-time pension of 120K+ until the day she dies.”
Yeah thats BS. Hate these people.
Both brains and money were needed to get her to congress.
Who provided the money?
Theres the perfect house for her in Caracas.
Crowley lost because he got complacent, he got fat, and he lost to demographics. I don't care if AOC was helped by Soros or Justice Democrats or other left-wing groups hiding in the background. It is very difficult to beat an incumbent, especially a Democrat, where you normally have to work your way up and be nice to the party bosses.
The point being, is that the new generation of Democrats want Marxism and they want it now. They're not going to hide it under the guise of centrism or moderate and then do the usual two-step of moving the Overton window.
I could be wrong, but as far as I've been able to figure out:
1) You have to have been in Congress for five years to qualify for a pension.
2) You have to be 62 years old to start collecting.
3) Unless you've been in Congress for 30 years, the pension is only a fraction of that.
And where does she get the money for all of these very expensive clothes?

If you have to ask you can’t afford her.
I should have included some documentation....sorry.
a lot don’t like wiki, but it’s ok for basic stuff
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_pension
Gabby Giffords was shot days into her third term; she put off resignation until a full year later — just days after she hit that 5-year mark.
Trump is also a man of genuine, hard-won and well-earned Character. Big Difference.
If she hurts the party, sure, but she's getting plenty of publicity for them among younger voters.
She may not know anything, but up to now, she's been a net plus for Democrats in spite of everything.
Steny Hoyer isn't exactly wowing the kids.
given to her by designers just like they do with the Hollyweird types.

Unlike Melania, watch for about 25 favorable magazine covers with suitable puff piece articles and cover titles “Coping with Leadership Responsibility—The Workout Routines That Save AOC’s Life”,”Still in Awe —AOC’s Guy Friend Spills. His favorite pictures of her.” “America’s Future in Her Hands-—How AOC Sees Our Destiny.”
thanx. that i didn’t know. I give her grace on that .
Because she’s too stupid ‘on her own’ to have done this without the help of the Justice Demorats.
What they want are younger faces...and that’s pretty much known because they want to pull in the youth..she fit the bill.
So you’re right I would never believe AOC could pull this off unless she had a huge leg up to that stage.....and in the district she selected to show her face.
“As long as she is completely destroyed politically, I could care less where she lives”
I only want to see her completely destroy the Dem party; if she goes down with it, fine ... but otherwise, i could care less what happens to her ...
“The funny thing about her is that all of the fights she’s picked so far (Amazon, dem primaries, Joe Lieberman, etc) are with other democrats. It’s as if she asked herself “how can I make sure I fail?” and then did that.”
So what you’re saying is that the Dems now finally have their own Mitt Romney?
You really think she simply became a willing participant and decided to be a puppet by some left-wing group so they can further their agenda?
I honestly think AOC is a shrewd politician who planned this in advance and finally saw an opening and knew that being in Washington would both pay the bills, become a celebrity, and exercise power that few Americans ever dream of.
If the Justice Democrats helped her, so be it, but like I said, it is extremely difficult to defeat an entrenched politician.
“To come out of nowhere, defeat a ranking member of her party, and become the architect of democrat party policy in a couple of years is nothing short of remarkable.”
a couple of years? ... try a couple of months! ... shows how completely devoid of ideas the Dems are that they seized on AOC’s nonsense like a duck jumping on a junebug ...
