A California student is challenging her school district after they told her she was banned from wearing her red Make America Great Again hat on campus.

Maddie Mueller, a senior at Clovis North High School in Fresno, is not afraid to share her political views with the world, and was shocked when school officials told her she's not allowed to wear the hat on campus on Wednesday.

Now Maddie, an aspiring Congresswoman, is fighting back saying her First Amendment rights are being violated.

'How does being a patriot in trying to show pride in your country, how is that inappropriate?' she said to Yourcentralvalley.com.

She's a member of the Valley Patriots, a conservative activist group, and they asked their members to wear their MAGA hats on February 20.

Yup, the High Speed Train to nowhere. Not that Fresno is ‘nowhere’ - since it is the headquarters of the FreeRepublic, so it is an esteemed location in America - but very few people were going to take that train. Hopefully President Trump can squeeze the Fed money ($3 billion?) out of the California commies since the Train is now kaput.

No different than social media: selective enforcement.

And they will never admit that it is selective enforcement.

There is only one solution to this constant fight over government schools, how they should be run, what should be taught, etc. Education should be privatized at all levels so parents and students can choose what kind of schools they want. As long as there are public schools, there will be a continual battle for control.

Your response is a symptom of us being indoctrinated by the Left...clothing doesn’t cause a ruckus...wrong thinking thugs cause a ruckus....don’t buy into their, “It ain’t my fault I kilt her...she wuz wearin’ that mean hat.” crap of an excuse they try to use...if your free speech can be claimed as the cause of others getting violent, then your free speech can be eroded to the point where you’re only safe if you don’t move/speak/look/blink....
