Will be interesting to see how many speaking engagements she does for free. How many books she writes and gives 100% of the profits to the poor. You know, seeing how evil money is and all that.

She’s also so friggin’ stupid that she doesn’t see the abject irony in, and hypocrisy of, her positions. “Billionaires paying to put up anti-progressive propaganda...”? What is so “progressive” about doing what every other elitist, self-serving, publicly-funded leech is doing?
Billionaire against billionaire. AO-C derives much of her current funding from a couple of billionaires (Soros and Steyer), while she grouses about what other billionaires take issue with her.
Donald Trump and Robert Mercer are the two billionaires AO-C seems to target most, and she considers them to be “dark money”, but is any of HER funding more transparent?
If it took $3.5 billion in tax abatements from the existing tax structure as well as some special regulatory relief to attract the Amazon investment in NYC, and it is now apparent that there is a corrupt political class that must also be placated to allow investment, then the economic future of America’s urban areas is not good. NYC has cultural, geographic and historical commercial advantages that should result in a beehive of capitalistic investment and productivity. Yet if Amazon was stopped by high taxes, byzantine regulations and a corrupt political class, imagine how many ordinary investors don’t even try to invest in New York or leave. Government programs do not alleviate real poverty. It is mitigated only by productive, economic activity brought about by investment. Soon the flow of foreign “safety” capital into the NYC real estate market will dwindle and even the millennials will move to where they can find productive employment. Ocasio-Cortes and her ilk are more than an annoyance. They are a corrupt, corrosive curse on the American people.

I wish to God Amazon would bring those jobs here to South Western Virginia. We’d take that in a second. No questions asked.
Little Folk don’t much care for corporations destroying their communities, being given tax breaks by pols who personally benefit, and everyone else having to foot the bill for the expenses these schemes generate. Who funded that billboard is a fair question.
