The fake story was supposed to seal Trumps defeat. Hillary would be president. Trump, after the election, would complain that he was a victim of a fake smear campaign, but no one would listen. Comey would be Attorney General or something, and all scraps of evidence would be scrubbed clean. Stzrok, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein, the whole cabal would not only solidify their positions, but Hillary would OWE them big time...
