They are wanting to create more housing (supply) by making it unprofitable to build more housing?

I haven’t read the details, but is the State going into the residential real estate business? Who is going to donate apartment building and condos? Is the state going to subsidize landlords?

Exactly. Real estate costs will continue upwards, but what you can charge for rent in that ever increasing expensive property will be fixed.

Utterly insane. AOC logic

Washington State is not far behind them. Legislation here being debated this week to increase eviction notices to 90 days. They already passed legislation that says you have to accept the first person the qualifies that applies, and you cannot look at criminal records in determining if they qualify. You discriminate if you offer special deals to veterans or active service.
