I think we are all losing our natural sense of direction by overusing the maps app.
That can happen, too, but I personally spend a whole bunch of time in the winter downloading and studying and printing hard copies of maps for off-road excursions in the spring and summer. Although due to health, I’ve rarely been able to actually use them, but hopefully that will change this year.
