Ted Cruz was the candidate of choice among Evangelicals. They only came aboard the Trump train because Hillary Clinton.

He consistently mentioned how Gays are murdered in predominantly Muslim Countries throughout his Campaign.
Another fact that irked the Liberals who support unchecked Immigration from Muslim Countries.

I’m not happy with this. Is it the State Dept. going rogue or is Trump really behind this. I’m afraid this could cost him some votes.

If it would not cost him votes, they would not be saying that he is doing it. Until it is proven different, I think that President Trump controls very little of what is going on. Whether this is the perception that he wishes to present or it is reality, I can't say.

Cheap trick to vilify Iran. There are 72 other countries that criminalize homosexuality. So when does the US announce sanctions against Saudi Arabia? Regime Change to bring the KSA into the age of enlightenment....like we have in San Francisco.

*** He never said he was for homosexual marriage did he? ***
On the campaign trail Trump said he was not opposed to homosexual marriage.

OMG! Grenell is in charge of this. Be interesting to see homosexuals fighting Africans to accept this sin.

Decriminalization ==> Permission ==> Affirmation ==> Forced Affirmation ==> Criminalization of dissent
We know the drill.

Don't be so stupid. If you disagree then fine, but you don't need to be insulting about it.
both the Muslims and other degenerates will vote primarily for Dems if the the current major two Party system remains in tact.
Homosexuality is not illegal in this country already, and both groups will vote Dem anyway, so what's to be lost by raising the issue?
The United States' ethnocentric society is fractured by default. An already heterogeneous society that has a binding Constitution based on a Social Contract that favors individuality can be it's own worst enemy when social mores fall apart, which has happened for over 50 years.
You seem to forget that we had massacres, slavery, lynchings, a civil war, and oppression long before these social mores you cherish fell apart.
Also, the EU is basically telling Muslims to cool it with their anti-homosexual dogma.
And I'm sure the EU will be obeyed, too.

The thesis is wrong (Not you, sorry if you took that the wrong way), money always talks, makes people do things they don't believe in, especially if they grovel for power.
5 years ago I agreed with what you stated, that Islam is a counter hegemonic force (Which in serious practice, it is), however, many nations/individuals are being subverted because of modified materialistic approach that appeases Islam. The practice/means that the players employed are rather interesting to say the least. You still have Isis and crap like those hardliners, but they are shrinking due to a lot of factors employed by those who were challenged by Islam's resistance. The rest will just either be ignored or overpowered. Right now that resistance is being breached in ways that parallel mainline Christian Churches. "Who can make war with the Beast" is rearing it's ugly head again.

Homosexuals are sinners just as we are, and deserve the chance to accept Jesus. Now, practicing homos is a different matter, just as supporting pedos, alcoholics, adulterers, etc., are sins.
Agreed. No problem. But the two-pronged points of my POST were that 1) POTUS has no business injecting the US into foreign social perversions, and 2) I fear losing the support of Creator by misleading folks into believing this injection is just.

Decriminalizing homosexuality criminalizes Muslim countries (China and some other countries too?) as human rights abusers. And President Trump’s voter base will increase, probably.
