No, I don’t believe this was ideology. This, first and foremost, was and is, about power and money. Those people involved, including McCabe, had accepted the Clintons money and favors, advanced their lives and careers, and Trump was a threat to exposure of their illegal behaviors. They went all in. We the people should return the favor with a long rope on the White House lawn.
I agree that it isn't about ideology, per se. This is about an outsider winning the Presidency, and saying he was going to drain the swamp. The whole of government is a swamp, so a lot of people felt threatened.
We knew about Rod’s treasonous activities long ago, his participation in the cabal, and his refusal to answer to congressional oversight. Yet he remained in his job. Just saying.
