They're also the only group of criminals for whom it's some sort of outrage to "separate families." When somebody is arrested for theft or for criminal trespass, he generally doesn't get to take his kids with him to jail. For some reason, people are convinced that illegal "immigrants" can't get the same treatment.

I will be forever grateful to Mary DeVore for gently insisting that I read it.
Getting to the point where cops saying “was just following orders” on such arrests are gonna have to hear “yeah, didn’t work at Nuremberg either, dumb f***.”
Unreal! Only in Communist parts of America would this absolute truth be considered remotely wrong.
Illegals are criminals. It’s not complicated. In fact nothing could be simpler. I don’t care if they came here looking for a better life. There are billions upon billions of other people who would like a better life but they didn’t break our laws and steal their way into our country like a criminal thief.
Haven’t you noticed that everything is racists now? This is how the Communists control the masses. Until they serve their purpose, then they are liquidated.
I remember photos of a La Raza rally where one of their agitators was holding up a sign saying "Being illegal doesn't mean I'm a criminal!" Made about as much sense as saying "Being obese doesn't make me overweight!"

I often ask open borders advocates - by they liberal, libertarian, or Bush Republicans, the following question: there are about 7 billion people who live outside the US. Most of those, let's say 5-6 billion to be on the conservative side, have a lower standard of living where they are than they would have if they were here. Are you really willing to admit 5-6 billion people "looking for a better life?"
