I've been reading Anti-Polish stuff on this forum for years and I've never understood the reason for it. Israel and the Jewish people face real dangers and the Poles and Poland shouldn't even register as a threat.
Just read a BBC article which stated that Israel's acting foreign minister recently said "Poles imbibe anti-Semitism with their mother's milk." Why say such a thing? What good purpose comes of it? I understand disagreements over history, but it serves no one to stir up divisiveness with such comments as he made. Seems extremely bigoted. Perhaps an Israeli Freeper could explain any possible beneficial purpose in creating a rift with Poland and Poles.

Good post.
Not only are Polish individuals the most numerous Righteous Among the Nations at Yad Vashem, but also noticed there is that up to two million Poles helped Jews despite the death penalty for doing so. Many of the righteous were young Catholic boys and men. Yad Vashem!
Poland, like everywhere, had pre-existing Jew-haters, but was far from being the worst offender.
