As others have pointed out, but I would like to reiterate for the liberal lurkers here who need it explained repeatedly and simply... That 3 billion is not money NY has to spend. It represented taxes NY could have collected from Amazon, but agreed not to as an incentive to get Amazon to come there. Note, NY would have gotten increased tax revenue from the deal anyway. All those Amazon employees would be paying taxes, buying goods and services, etc. But that 3 billion is not money NY has sitting in an account that they were going to give to Amazon, it is simply money NY agreed to let Amazon keep.

Well, now Amazon is going to keep that 3 billion anyway, and NY doesn't have anything to show for it other than egg on its face. These are the kinds of "victories" socialists celebrate on their spiral down to Venezuela level misery.

So AOC graduated "...cum laude from Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2011, majoring in international relations and economics..." SMH... If I was Boston University I'd consider paying her good money to stop saying she graduated from there. If I were a prospective student of Boston U....looking at AOC as an example of the "education" I might get, I would immediately scratch Boston U. off the list of possibilities. This woman is dumber than Coyote on the old Roadrunner cartoons - and she graduated "with distinction" from Boston U.? They obviously don't set the bar too high. Apparently successfully tying your shoes without assistance is about the level of achievement they must look for.

It punishes the middle class and gets them one day closer to The Revolution. Making any aspect of American life better is harmful to their long-term plans. AOC may in fact be stupid, but the people planting ideas in her head and words in her mouth are most definitely not.
