Yes it does. As a case in point, the Federal Reserve was very “accomodative” during the Obama years. It pumped massive amounts of money into the economy with the stroke of a few keys (and kept interest rates artificially low during his entire two terms).
And when liberals dream up projects they want funded they look to Uncle Sugar to provide large financial grants (e.g., California’s ill fated bullet train, green energy schemes like Solyndra, etc.)
So money does suddenly appear out of thin air — but only for Democrats.
Van Jones, and more recently de Blasio said that there was plenty of money, it just wasn't distributed properly. This is the way they think.
