A bullet won’t do him much good without the casing, powder and primer.

Agree. CCL holders are a very law abiding group for the most part.

Not icewater . . . courage. I can only hope that I would be so brave in such a confrontation.

ACLU. Hmmm...
"...The hat is created in defiance of the negative and divisive rhetoric used by Trump and every penny (minus production cost) from the pledge will be donated to ACLU to help protect the rights of over 3.3 million Muslim Americans.

I had someone put a gun in my gut once. I didn't poop my pants, I didn't cry or beg, I just froze in sort of disbeleif that it was happening. Fortunately the guy's friend or whatever (I think i interupted a drug deal) gently pushed the gun away from me and said "just walk away, man. walk away" and I did. Later I got angry and was all like "pull a gun on me will they? Why I'll show them!" but of course that was just bluster.
So when I say that telling the guy to pull the trigger or fight with fists shows he has icewater in his veins, that's where I'm coming from.

So glad you’re here and okay.
In martial arts classes we practiced concentrating on what to do for a gun in our backs, then making pre-planned half turn (deciding on which way was important)and slash with a forearm. None of us knew if we could ever really pull it off.
Most M Squads didn’t even have Lee Marvin do that so how could we mere mortals? He kicked a guy’s shin once, broke a lamp to distract him but often merely watched for a sudden intrusion by a bystander or henchman to make his move. Just TV, though. Not worth our lives.

.
Way back when I was an Engineering Inspector for the county, a guy pulled a gun on me when I drove up to his house.
It was Ed Daily, the owner of World Airways at the time.
We ended up becoming great friends.
