Are Christians called to be pacifists?
NO.
Only lukewarm cowardly casual ‘Christians’ think bowing to an enemy is a ‘calling’.
Turn the other cheek is singular.
This is a personal choice. A Christian may choose to be a pacifist, but may not impose it upon others.
It is the same with celibacy. It is the same with charity.
Jesus did not tell all rich men to give away their wealth; he told one specific rich man, because that is what he needed to hear.
Leftists want universal coercion, conservatives want individual liberty.
Christians who categorically assert that either all or none of the Faith must be pacifist are both wrong: That is legalism either way.
Your very wording - as well as arrogant presumption to judge a person’s inner motive and courage - shows you are yourself one of the “casual Christians’” - and not much of one at that.
Try reading the Word more and posting less.
Back at you.

As does every Scotsman
Unfortunately, we are the silent majority. We dont have organizers to get these things done because I guess we just trust in God. I think that should change and I can use a very potent Bible verse to justify that action. God may ask for stillness and trust and other times he might say, Get going and keep trusting. God said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Ex. 14:15 Its so important to listen for his voice, to know when to be still, and also to know when to get up and move forward.
Perhaps we need someone with organizational skills and contacts; someone like Jim Robinson to organize a mass multi state rally to support our President.
