They call it the Green New Deal and most of it is centered around social justice and not fixing anything. Still not sure how free college and giving people money for not working impacts climate.

I watched a Ted Talk yesterday. The speaker was a climate scientist who said this actually started back in 1980 with Reagan and the Montreal Protocol. Things like the reduction of lead from gasoline and the idea of developing partnerships between environmental groups and businesses in the energy field were items that made this initiative a success.

Now, knowing what we know, and fixing the problem, what is the left actually moaning about when they discuss Climate Change?

Your climate scientist is wrong about the origin of this whole hoax. it began with British coal miners in the 70s when the meme was global cooling. The miners demanded more money since they would have to work harder to mine all the coal that would be needed. The US gov balked and refused so they went on strike.

The whole of it was resolved when I forget who came up with the idea that if it was warming then the miners had no case. So the scientists were asked to change their models and lo and behold global warming was born and the miners went back to work without any more money.
