What effect does a resolution have?
If it’s a Joint Resolution, it has the same effect as a bill and requires the approval of the President.
I wish the turtle would declare a nuclear option and bring this resolution to the floor for a vote. Then we would see who the traitors are in the Senate.
It is like farting in an elevator, it smells for a while but once you exit then it dissipates and the provocateur of the stench is left exposed

Very interesting drama unfolding as the ones who have been on the take are butt puckering as it becomes clear there is a lot of evidence they have been involved and on the take, both Blue and Red.
The Great Awakening truly has begun and all of the wolves in sheeps clothing are fighting to avoid being brought into the light of day. Either they know that the table has tilted and the more they resist and fight to follow the Constitution and enumerated responsibilities the deeper they dig the hole they will be thrown into.
