McTurtle said he would back the Emergency Declaration.
So Why would he even allow this resolution to come to the floor for a vote?? He has the power to keep it from coming to the floor.
If he allows a vote he is once again backstabbing the President.

If he can prevent the resolution from the vote and allows it he is stabbing Trump in the back.

And remember this article is based on what Duckworth said, maybe she’s flapping her gums.

Not so.

Any single Senator can demand a vote and it must occur in a timely fashion in accordance with law.

And it’s filibuster proof.
