you’re right. I was being flippant. The good news is, Merkel is out in 2021, so maybe, just maybe, Germany might become more amiable with fresh leadership.
I hope you are right. The leadership in France, Germany, and the U.K. seems terribly weak right now. The Central parts of Europe are the only ones thinking straight.
