“That area” was a reference to where black deviants prowl; when this story first broke, a few FReepers familiar with the area (I know nothing of Chicago) said it was BS immediately. There is something about that area that made it ridiculous that two white men, either wearing MAGA hats or yelling “MAGA”, would be there at that time.
It is hard to avoid liberals in NJ; it isn’t hard to avoid the high-crime areas frequented by certain demographics. The whole state (including its cities) is designed so you don’t have to deal with them unless you want to.

Most of the violent crime and murder in Chicago happen on the south side. Residents have told me they feel safe as long as they do not go into certain areas which they know. However, I seriously doubt a well-paid Hollywood celebrity is living in the ghetto.
And, more importantly, there is nowhere that you are going to find anyone wearing MAGA hats and yelling “MAGA country” while committing a crime that isn’t staged.
First, Trump supporters are not violent criminals. When we have finally had enough, we will be a well-organized militia that takes out the trash, not go on some random crime spree. The left protests, riots, and loots. We are too busy working or cleaning up their messes.
Second, the only people who think that terrorism and “hate crimes” are effective at promoting their agenda are Islamic terrorists and the leftists who sympathize with them. Well, there are the Bill Ayers types on the left also.
