In the wild, my cat would be eating mice and birds I doubt that feeding her canned cat food adds any more carbon dioxide to the air than if she were wild.

Sure, but think about all of the animals saved by the closing of the massive pet food market. I’m not into starving animals so the pets gotta go before any farting cows get whacked.
