Not progressives, retrogressives. Retro all the way back to the Bolshevik tactics, philosophy and goals.

Environmentalism is not about bettering life for humans. If anything, it’s about destroying the capacity of humans to function on earth. It’s about throwing us back to an earlier era where life was inconceivably difficult, compared to now. Environmentalists are the new Puritans. They want you to feel shame so that they may control what you do. That’s all you need to know.

Well said. - Tom

There are two types who promote this: leftists (socialists, liberals, etc) and idiots. One notable thing in the media is how stupid the promoters are, e.g. Chris Mooney of the Washington Post Dumber than a rock, just types up whatever the “scientists” tell him, not realizing he is only listening to 3% of the scientists.

What they are not sayng is the forced laws everyone must wear the same style and color tunic and the thousands of reeducation centers built to house those who resist.

Control: of all power, of all money; hence of all people.

Follow the power. Follow the money.

Always. In every earthly political struggle: Who benefits?

This wasn’t about “the environment” at all - just another race-based handout: “

The plan also imagines creating governmental support for “transitioning” minority communities. The deal shall: “ensure a ‘just transition’ for all workers, low-income communities, communities of color, indigenous communities, rural and urban communities and the front-line communities most affected by climate change, pollution and other environmental harm including by ensuring that local implementation of the transition is led from the community level.” More, Ocasio-Cortez sees this plan is being a vehicle through which social equality might finally realized through the use of reparations to right historical injustices. The final Green New Deal will “mitigate deeply entrenched racial, regional and gender-based inequalities in income and wealth (including, without limitation, ensuring that federal and other investment will be equitably distributed to historically impoverished, low income, deindustrialized or other marginalized communities in such a way that builds wealth and ownership at the community level).”
