I want to be careful how I say this.
With decisions to legalize marijuana, come related decisions of setting up businesses to handle such products.
Not everyone knows how to run a business in the first place.
I know nothing about the legal marijuana business, but assume there are things in common with any business, such as managing cash flow, managing inventory, managing employees, setting prices to maximize profit, etc.
If the majority of people willing to get into this business are white and male, is that really discrimination?
stop trying to be careful about anything! thats the reason weve slipped so far!! Not you personally, the human race in general! SAY IT!!!! SAY IT!!!!!! THE EMPOROER IS BUCK FKG NEKID!! ...ok rant over...
I went to a dispensary with a friend who was refilling a “script”.
Wow, things have changed since the 70s.
Being in Oregon where it has been a legal business for many years, the way it works is that there is a cadre of seasoned illegal growers who try to move to the legal business. But, the old illegal system they knew provided both price support and competition suppression through the legal system.
So, the successful new entrants are eating their lunch. Forgotten in all this is are the wannabes from the days of prohibition who think the price will remain high and anyone can grow dollars in their back yard. They are losing money and quitting.
The business is color blind -- a true meritocracy. When AOC's people get left out it is because of their abilities, not their race.
