He’s got MORE capability to make the changes. Why doesn’t HE step up to the plate to make ‘em happen?
The Chief Executor of Law enforcement has been MIA for 2yrs+ , extending DACA (which he also decried), not ONE govt employee arrested/prosecuted vs. “sanctuary cities” (and just recently ate another Congressional s*-sandwich). Pretty soon, the same defenders will be saying, “Well, he was in for X yrs. He TRIED at least...”
The #1 issue Trump pushed was stopping illegal immigration and after 2 years he has nothing to show for it...he had tools to deal with the problem but he punted to Congress, so here we are.
He could have done the following without Congressional approval:
1) Order the slow search of every truck and rail car coming from Mexico for drugs and let hundreds of millions of dollars of imports rot.
2) Order the IRS to stop the 60B in remittances from US banks to Mexico until each transaction can be proven to not be drug money.
3) Apply pressure on the IMF to hurt Mexico’s economy until they help secure the border.
4) Declare Mexico a failed state due it’s drug war and restrict travel.
Trump was suppose to be a different kind of Pol...a man who gets things done and he’s failed.
Wasn’t she Mitt Romney’s #1 fan? Does she consider Romney tough on immigration?

Local D.C. station, WMAL, had her on this afternoon. Listened for a bit (about 2 minutes) until she start sounding like Shepard Smith.

Hmmmmm.....Did my post contain ANYTHING that contradicts any of the above?
Nope, didn’t think so.
I have found columns of hers in the past to be entertaining on occasion.
However, she is first and foremost (and has always been) a “carnival barker” for herself. Her “shock act” wore thin years ago.
Put it another way - everyone gets tired of seeing a “One-trick pony” doing the same thing over and over again.
Her fortuitous prognostication of DJT’s ascent to the presidency gave her a few extra years of attention (although in her case I would ascribe pick that more to blind luck than to the the kind of insightful analysis that led Scott Adams to the same conclusion).
I’m tired of her act. That’s all I’m saying. ;>)

I love Ann Coutler’s political beliefs mostly. She has only one problem, she is BAT SHIT crazy and always looking for the spotlight to shine on her. Her 15 minutes of fame is over.
She is irrelevant as a rational political commentator. Her comments are all about making herself relevant. It makes money. She totally fails on a rational objective of conservatism and how to achieve it. This almost puts her in the realm of a charlatan. I hope she is just bat shit crazy. If she is not, she is far worse.

Please, don’t play the Hillary card. The first thing Trump should have done was illegal immigration...his entire campaign was based on doing something...and for 2 years he did nothing.
He should have taken the bull by the horns in the first 24 hours of his administration and taken the type of actions I described.
