Smollett has been proven to be a liar.

It appears these two have been arrested as accomplices to the fraudulent charge.

Previously, the actor stated the attack was carried out by two white males wearing MAGA hats. Based on an investigative review of the alleged attackers they do not appear to meet the profile.

So they arrested two Nigerians? LOL. How long is the CPD going to continue this farce?

Now the pressure starts for a plea deal contingent on them telling them the whole sordid story of Smollett’s complicity in the staged attack.

The media isn't explaining this correctly. If they are under the 48 hour deadline, they are ALREADY under arrest, and formal charges have to be filed in that time period. If charges aren't filed they have to be cut loose. However, charges can still be filed and a warrant issued and they can be arrested again.
