The point is the current president is a socialist and if he takes the road Hugo Chávez did it will create an even nastier situation on our southern border.

Thanks. I had forgotten that denationalization. IIRC, it didn’t get a whole lot of press at the time. I vaguely recall something along the lines of investors being wary of putting their money into the pot for fear of renationalization.
