Unfortunately, you have a good point, however, I think that Obama was a case of who has standing to challenge and none of the candidates were willing to take up the fight. That makes me want to hear a solid analysis. A Supreme court ruling would be a good forum for that analysis. That would answer the question as to whether there are actually borders. At some point, the question of whether the emergence of classes of people with different rights (citizen vs. non citizen)is going to be the status quo going forward. I am afraid I may not like the answers but not asking and dealing with the default is worse.
