Beto O'Rourke says he would 'absolutely' tear down Trump's wall, along with 600 miles of existing barriers at the US-Mexico border
Beto O'Rourke denounced President Trump's proposed border wall in an interview Thursday after Congress passed a spending bill allocating $1.4B for it
The former congressman from El Paso said: 'Absolutely, I'd take the wall down'
He asserted that the 600 miles of barriers currently at the border haven't made America safer, but have led to the deaths of 4,000 migrants
'We have walled off their opportunity to legally petition for asylum' O'Rourke said
Beto O'Rourke said that he would take down existing walls and fences along the US-Mexico border if given the opportunity.
The former congressman from El Paso made the declaration in an MSNBC interview Thursday after the House and Senate passed a spending bill allocating $1.4billion for President Donald Trump's proposed border wall.
The White House said Thursday that Trump intends to sign the spending measure but will declare a national emergency 'to ensure we stop the national security and humanitarian crisis at the border'.
After the bill was passed by both chambers, Texas Rep Dan Crenshaw asked O'Rourke on Twitter: 'If you could snap your fingers and make El Paso's border wall disappear, would you?'
O'Rourke responded: 'Absolutely, I'd take the wall down.'

This guy is trying to move to the left of the insane. Is he going to run for the Mayor of El Paso? Either that or he is already negotiating a VP spot? He’ll be the far left bomb thrower for the millennials to fall in love with. While running mate “The Jamaican $hore” runs to the middle during the general election
would be nice if they stopped calling the wall Trump’s Wall.
It is American’s Wall, bought and payed for with our taxes and loved one’s.
Beto - are you for American interests or someone else’s?
I rode my bicycle back to the wall today to see what was done there. The wall is constantly being painted over. Its a nice place to pass by on my bicycle or stop sit for a while. Usually there is music on the Boom-Box when the weather is nice.

I had beauty surgery yesterday but still I wanted to ride and see what was painted there. The turnover rate is brutal and once they are painted over, which will be very soon then they are gone forever.
Here is my ride today. Picture is a bit of illusion because they closed the bridge on one side (the bridge broke).

I seen people pull up in vans to do their painting/graffiti.
Rode by the wall today and those 1,2,3/3 pictures I posted yesterday are all gone. Brutal!

I joined a bicycle club. If I ride 100 kilometers by early March I get 50 euros voucher from bicycle clothes shop. Since Sunday I now have 51 kilometers.
I need to up my ride in style.
My wife just told me two neighborhoods next to us have blackouts so far the whole day. Have no idea what that is about.
Stay out of Koepenick and Lichtenberg.
Also a bicyclist got killed in an accident at Alexanderplatz.
I leave my door and ride the street straight to Alexanderplatz. Lets say 8 kilometers, not too far. Great shopping, KFC, many tourists there.
I stopped my bicycle and took a picture of the power station about 6 kilometers from us. Didnt seem anything bad (fire or something) was going on. But those blackout areas are in the opposite direction.

My wife reminded me Koepenick is in that direction. I said oh yes then I took a picture of Koepenick.

A lady at Alexanderplatz got run over when she was going straight on her bicycle and a truck turned. Now they want to outlaw old trucks that dont detect bicycles in the dead view zone and give the driver a warning.
Rain today.
