Thanks for the link; I believe it was so absurd the grown-ups in her party quickly told her to take it down. They are afraid they’ll be asked in front of cameras if they support it, and they don’t want to look like loons - but on the other hand, they don’t want to be portrayed as “non-progressive”.

You do know that part of Article IV Section Four of the U. S. Constitution states that the President and Congress "SHALL" (read that are required) to provide the states with a Republican Government.
Here:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
Seems to me that pretty much disqualifies a Socialist State.
Seems to me that domestic violence is also forbidden, so that rioters and Leftist disrupters (sp?) could be addressed.

Unassimilated minorities have become a hot potato for whom the welfare state bribes have become insufficient; businesses and productive people are constantly migrating further from established urban areas to escape their wrath and outstretched palms. So true. As I understand it, they won’t do as well as forecast because the legal stuff will cost so much people will stay with the underground pot product. Unlike alcohol, which requires all kinds of machinery to produce, pot just needs soil and sun. Better quality requires more, but people in my area seem content with “skunk weed”...
