This reminds me of going to a PGA golf tournament a few years back. There was one green I had hoped to get in the front row and when I went to see the green all these college age kids were sitting there. I told them it would be a couple of hours before a golfer arrived. They were paid by corporations to hold those spaces. The free enterprise system at work.
When I used to work a lot of temp jobs in my youth I met quite a few real hobos. Sometimes they would let me in on temp jobs only the hobo network knew of. This might be one of them; or in certain cities or situations.
